Help people strengthen their relationships with money this month

A healthy relationship with money can positively affect a person's whole life.

Yet less than 25 percent of Americans are satisfied with their personal financial condition, according to the FINRA Financial Capability Survey. Moreover, a 2014 report from the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System revealed that nearly 40 percent of non-retired Americans have given saving for retirement little to no thought.

April is Financial Capability Month, and it's the perfect time to help others take steps to strengthen their finances. For those who don't have an easy way to start saving for the future, encourage them to open a myRA account and save a little from each paycheck. It's one simple step that will make them feel good and help them plan, save, and invest in a brighter financial future.
