Tuesday, March 8, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Hamilton Mall (on the upper level, in front of Sears).

This free event is an opportunity for community members in need of assistance to connect with a variety of local programs and services that are available in Atlantic County.

Additionally, Sheriff Frank X. Balles and his team will be on site with the R.E.AL Help program, which stands for Realty Experts Aligned to Help, and focuses on education and outreach about foreclosure prevention programs and options that can help them during these challenging times.

Meet with representatives from the following organizations:

  • Atlantic City Electric
  • South Jersey Gas
  • Ocean Inc.
  • AtlantiCare Behavioral Health
  • Clarifi
  • Community Foodbank of NJ
  • Consumer Credit and Budget Counseling, Inc.
  • Family Service Association
  • New Jersey American Water Company
  • NJ 2-1-1, and more!


Residents may be able to complete assistance applications* onsite with the following documents:

  • A lease, property tax or mortgage statement,
  • Proof of current income (last four pay stubs if paid weekly and last two if paid bi-weekly),
  • Award letters for Social Security Insurance (SSI), Social Security Disability (SSD), Temporary Assistance for Need Families (TANF) and General Assistance (GA),
  • Social security cards for all household members, and
  • A current gas, oil and/or electric bill. For those with no income, an affidavit of non-income is required.
