Leaving DC for the Final Campaign Push

Time is Running Out! Tell Senators Mendez and Booker:
Pass the America Gives More Act Before
Leaving DC for the Final Campaign Push

Your help is needed to urge the Senate to act immediately to pass the America Gives More Act, legislation that will restore charitable giving incentives for non-profits. The House of Representatives passed this bill with strong bipartisan support in July and it now awaits action from the Senate.  According to national reports, Congress returned to Washington this week with a goal to pass spending legislation to fund the federal government through the elections, to address other matters, and to leave town as quickly as possible to return to their campaign trails. Senators must immediately be convinced to pass the America Gives More Act (H.R. 4719) or many of the incentives for supporting nonprofits will be lost.

Please act now to urge Senator Robert Menendez and Senator Cory Booker to help pass this charitable giving legislation now.You can deliver the message by
CALLING the local offices of Senator Menendez (973-645-3030 or 856-757-5353) and Senator Booker (973-639-8700 or 856-338-8922) or their Washington, DC offices (Senator Menendez: 202-224-4744 and Senator Booker: 202-224-3224);
TWEETING Senator Menendez (@SenatorMenendez) and Senator Booker (@CoryBooker AND @SenBookerOfc) sample tweet; or
EMAILING Senator Menendez and Senator Booker (download sample letter).
