Our Spring Showcases will be upon us before we know it, so I thought it would be a good idea to once again remind all our previous provider participants of the Spring 2010 Showcase dates and to also take that same opportunity to alert some new providers that have recently come to the table.  Once again, if you have not already done so, please mark your calendars and let us know which of the following events you plan to be a part of.  We look forward to your joining NJCFE in sharing your curriculum resources and materials with New Jersey’s teachers and school administrators!  As you are aware, New Jersey is a “Home Rule” state, so we do not endorse any one curriculum or product.  With that in mind, the Coalition in collaboration with the New Jersey Department of Education endeavors to make a menu of Financial Education curriculum materials available from which New Jersey educators can pick and choose. 

As those of you who have participated before are aware, the NJCFE Curriculum Showcase format has been highly successful and we have served well over 500 New Jersey Educators since the Summer of 2009.  96% of the participants indicated that these events were extremely worthwhile and sent them home with useful information enabling them to hit the ground running in providing personal finance education to their students. 

We look forward to your joining NJCFE in sharing your curriculum materials with New Jersey’s teachers and school administrators!  I will begin to prepare the agendas for these events shortly and want to ensure that all those who which to participate are represented!
