THANK YOU for making the Met East High School Financial Health Day such a great SUCCESS!!! This could not have been done without all of the hard work, effort and dedication of such a wonderful group of individuals.

I believe the students learned meaningful financial lessons that they will apply in their life and remember for a very long time!! One of my favorite quotes from a student was “I now UNDERSTAND WHY my mother sometimes says ‘no’ to me when I tell her I want her to purchase things for me”. My hope is that all of the students have a better understanding of the everyday financial decisions their parents/adults need to make and that this simulation will open the door to help them realize the importance/consequences of the financial decisions they will need to make once they graduate.
