The mission of the New Jersey Coalition for Financial Education (NJCFE) is to improve the financial literacy of New Jersey residents of all ages by providing professional development experiences for financial educators and youth and adult learners. Dr. Barbara O’Neill, a NJCFE member, has made a restricted donation to NJCFE in honor of her late mother, Mary O’Neill, a financially capable woman. The donation supports an annual $2,500 mini-grant for an innovative, high-impact financial education project that is a direct outreach resource to consumers. The mini-grant cannot be used to pay indirect costs. All dues-paying NJCFE member organizations are eligible and encouraged to apply. The due date for mini-grant applications is December 1, 2014.
